BAM! Can be either "Bad Arthritis Moment" or "Beautiful Arthritis Moment"

Arthritis definitely adds "spice" to one's life. So, I created this BAM blog (thanks to Emeril for the inspiration) to chronicle those arthritis challenges and yes, those beautiful moments, whether it is a new coping strategy, someone reaching out to help, or something to take my mind off of my pain and disability. BAM! Bad Arthritis Moment....Methotrexate Headaches

I have a "love/hate" relationship with methotrexate. Studies have shown that taking Biologics (in my case, Humira) will work longer and more effectively if taken along with methotrexate (MTX.) But, I DREAD the weekly dose of this toxic medication. I have my sunglasses ready for the light sensitivity, can deal with the GI problems, but the killer headaches....they almost defeat me. Any ideas?
